Anderson, IN - Larry Francis Mabbitt, 83, of Anderson, passed away on June 6, 2025, at his home.
He was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Anderson, to Francis Loyd and Velma Gibbs Mabbitt.
Larry worked for Nicholson File for seven years and then retired from Guide Lamp after 30 years.
He was a member of Local 663 and 681 Fellowship Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating and hunting, and going to car shows with his hot rods. He did some farming with friends, and was always available to help out family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda; his daughter, Lana Mabbitt; two grandsons, Michael Mabbitt and Corbin Guenin; great-grandsons and a great- granddaughter; sister-in-law, Joann Mabbitt; several very special nieces and nephews, the Stallsmiths and Murrays, and lots of great friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Macel Holaday and Sonja Ohler; and two brothers, Ronald and Richard "Bud."
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service followed by a Masonic memorial rites. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
