Larry Bret Maxwell, 63, Pendleton, passed away May 16, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Anderson on May 20, 1958, to Bobbie and Betty (Huse) Maxwell

Larry was a lifelong auto upholsterer and owner of Maxwell's Trim Shop, Pendleton. He was a special one of a kind person. He loved racing from go-karts to drag racing, traveling and camping at NASCAR races and restoring antique cars.

He also enjoyed nature and kayaking with family and friends. He was a music lover.

He is survived by his wife, Daphne (Pugh) Maxwell of Pendleton; children, Tara Maxwell, Levi Maxwell, both of Pendleton; grandchildren, Tracy Price, Tonna Price, Oliver Maxwell; parents, Bobbie and Betty (Huse) Maxwell; sisters, Cindy (Danny) Helms of Lapel, Susan (companion, Mark Graham) Maxwell of Anderson, Brenda (Tony) Day of Zionsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his cousin, Brian Maxwell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 5 p.m. at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the Celebration.
