ANDERSON [mdash] Rev. Manuel L. Hunt, 76, passed away April 5, 2025.

Manuel was born Jan. 6, 1949, to Lois and Samuel Hunt. He was a 1968 Anderson High School graduate, US Marine Corps veteran, member of St. Luke Baptist Church, founder and president of the Anderson Black Chamber of Commerce, and was employed at Ivy Tech as a recruitment counselor.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Terra Hunt; son, Dr. Evay (Stephanie) Hunt; daughters, Olunda Hunt, Yolunda (Donte) Brown; brother, Marshall Carter; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be noon Friday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1540 W. 15th St., with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
