Markleville, Indiana - Margaret "June" Clark, 99, of Markleville, passed away on May 17, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent in Fishers.

She was born June 21, 1926, in Marshall, Illinois, to her parents, Pearle and David Clark.

June attended a one-room schoolhouse locally known as "The Opossum School".

June was hired at Guide Lamp in 1944, at age 18, and retired as a quality control inspector after 41 years of dedicated service. She was a proud member of the UAW 663.

June attended Eastview Church of the Nazarene, where she was a dedicated member, for many years.

Although she never had children, June adopted all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews as her own and loved them all dearly. She was the "fun" aunt who built treasured memories with all of them. She also loved her pets, which she was never without, but especially Petey, her last kitty-cat.

June is survived by her nephews, Larry, Jack, David, Reggie, Jim and Bradley Clark, Richard and Ted Powell; and nieces, Judy Rice, Carolyn Roland, Madonna Clark, and Janette Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearle (Turpin) Clark; siblings, Lois Clark, Joe Clark, Dean Clark, Violet Powell, Jim Clark, Stephen Clark, twin sister, Martha Gene Lambert, and Geneva Clark; brother-in-law, Elmer Lambert; nephews, Timothy Lambert, Paul Clark, and Dick Clark; and nieces, Joy Powell and Sharon Clark.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Eastview Church of the Nazarene, 2552 E. 200S, Anderson.

Services will follow visitation on Thursday at noon at the church with Pastor Ron Karkosky officiating.

Burial will take place in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
