Anderson, IN - Marvin Couch, 69, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 2, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1955, in Anderson, the son of Francis and Norma (Breese) Couch and resided in Anderson most of his life.
Marvin graduated from Pendleton High School in 1974. He honorably served in the United States Army and later had worked in Heating and Air Conditioning for several years. Marvin also had worked for Simon and Schuster Publishing Co. as a warehouse worker. He had worked many happy years at the Center for Mental Health Center and eventually retired in 2016.
Marvin had attended Faith Assembly of God and was very faithful. He was an accomplished artist/painter.
Marvin is survived by his sister, Lora Hoppes (Daryl); his nephews, D.J. Callahan, David Callahan, Austin Hoppes, and Jordan Hoppes; his uncle, Richard Couch.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at East Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Walt Weaver officiating.
