Mildred (Millie) Aaron, 99, passed away Feb. 16, 2023. She was born June 7, 1923, in Missouri to the late David and Mary Hampton. She has been a resident of Anderson for 71 years. She married the late James (Jim) Aaron, the love her life, on Jan 5, 1952. He preceded her in death May 9, 2004. Millie was a graduate of Diehlstadt High School and attended South East Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She worked in banking for 36 years and retired from First Indiana Bank in Pendleton in 1986. Millie was baptized in the Baptist faith and attended Madison Park Church of God. She was a member of Pendleton Chapter #138 OES. She loved her family and grandchildren so much and enjoyed fixing each one their favorite food. She had so many special people in her life and cherished their friendship. Surviving are a daughter Patty Clegg (Tom Schoon) of Anderson, grandchildren Allison (Jimmie) Green, Jon (Nicky) Clegg, AJ Clegg; great-grandchildren Madi Arthur, McKenna Clegg, Declan Walter. Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with a 1 p.m. service at Loose Funeral Home 200 W 53rd St. Anderson, IN
