ALEXANDRIA - Mary A. (Ingram) White, 96, of Alexandria died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at her residence after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Nemrod, Texas, to William and Mollie (Reeves) Ingram. She worked housekeeping at St. John's Hospital for 14 1/2 years before retiring in 1982. She attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene. She lived in Clinton, Ark., until 1949; moved to Daleville then relocated to Anderson in 1958. She enjoyed Scrabble, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four children, Roger Lloyd Lunsford, Jessie Marie (Orvin) McQueary, Calvin Zion (Raydean) Lunsford, Clayton Clyde Lunsford; sister, Hazel Love; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 17 great -great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Lunsford; second husband, Lester White in 1975; son, William Earl Lunsford; brother, Clyde Ingram; three sisters, Opal Ingram; Golie Starcher and Chloie Berry; two grandsons, Frankie Lee Ashby and Brandon Hester. Service will be held at noon Thursday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Dan Alexander officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service at noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
