I was very fortunate to have known and loved Maxine. She cared for many children, over the years, and my daughter spent many years and created many wonderful memories while in her home.
She was loved by many and will always remain in our hearts.
God Bless and may she Rest In Peace.

I am so sad to hear of Aunt Mackie passing. She was part of my family as I was growing up. She took great care of me and treated me like family. She wasn’t just a babysitter, she was my friend, my care giver and my Aunt. She had her own unique way with words. I still remember to this day she would say “Oh peanut butter “ and “ Oh sugar” if she got mad which was very rare. She never had a cross word for anyone. She was willing to share her love and caring for the children that came thorough her house. I have many fond memories that I will cherish forever. Love you Aunt Mackie Rest In Peace.
