Megan Leann (Young) Mendez, 34, spent a lot of time at the Roll Arena when she was younger. She was known as "Peaches" her nickname was given because of her love for peach rings.
Megan has furbabies, Chickie & Flocka that she loved dearly along with family and friends.
Megan is survived by loving husband, Miguel; parents, Brenda and Dennis Daffron; sister, Michele and Tim Marsh; stepsister, Michele and Shawn Frogge; nieces, Jazmin and Jayda Marsh; nephew, Jayson Marsh.
Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael "Bear" Young; grandparents, Joyce and Marshall Blair, Curt Yeager, Cora Young.
Megan is no longer suffering due to her long term battle with diabetes.
Memorial contributions could be made to Moose Lodge Anderson #150, Madison County Humane Society, Animal Protection League of Anderson.
Special thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice House - Dr. Ernesto and Laura Pinzon of Sebring, Florida-Dialysis Center and all that have cared for her.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Moose Lodge, 225 E. Pine St., Anderson.

Thinking of you Brenda and Michelle in this very sad time. I hope you all find strength in the many happy memories you have of her. She sure had a big beautiful smile and seemed to enjoy life. Hugs to you all.
