Freeport, Florida - Michael Lee Anderson passed away July 4, 2026, after a long battle with cancer at home with family.

Michael was a retired mechanic, and a graduate of Madison Heights High School.

He was a loving husband and father, brother, and friend. He loved boating and water skiing, bonfires and walks on the beach with Kelly.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Elsie M. Anderson of Anderson, Indiana.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kelly Fisher; daughter, Shawna (Erik) Anderson of Chicago, Illinois, son, Jason (Ashley) Anderson of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; daughter, Brooke (Kenny) Tweedy of New Palestine, Indiana; son, William (Amanda) Raison of Anderson; sisters, Teresa (Steve) Oldham of Anderson, and Cheryl (Brian) Madison; father-in-law, Ron Beckerman; 10 grandchildren, Brent Haney of Freeport, Florida, Ryann (Tristan) Vannoy of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Gabriel and Evangeline Anderson of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Aleks and Kora Anderson of Chicago, Illinois, Johnny Bowen of Greenfield, Indiana, Kenna Tweedy of New Palestine, Indiana, Nova and Millie Raison of Anderson; two great- grandchildren, Johnny and Reinleigh Bowan; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and fur babies, Daisy, Zeus and Frankie.
