Anderson, IN - Nancy L. (Hutton) Mulcahy died January 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.

Nancy was born in Anderson in 1946 to Mary (Lewis) Hutton and Dayton Delbert Hutton. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1964 and Anderson College in 1968 with an undergraduate degree that she went on to use in social work service.

During her long career, Nancy worked for the State of Indiana's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, served youth in crisis, and supported people with disabilities. Nancy lived most of her life in Anderson and Indianapolis.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Delbert Hutton; her brother, James (Jim) Hutton; brother-in-law, John Coffin; and many beloved pets.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (Thom) Rich; her daughter, Shellie Rich; her sister, Patricia Coffin; her sister-in-law, Salli Hutton; her son-in-law, Tim Thomas; and grandchildren, Ginger, Wren, Indigo and Emmeline.
