Anderson, Indiana - Nancy Anne McEntire, age 77, left us in this world on Monday, June 1, 2026.

She was born May 5, 1949, in Indianapolis, to Robert and Roxanna Surface.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, George Theodore McEntire; her children, Michelle Renfro Lewis (Mark), Bryan McEntire and Jeremy McEntire; her sister, Alice DeHart; her grandchildren, Morgan Lewis, Ariel McEntire Wiley (Nathan), Kayla Lewis and Akira McEntire; great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother in-law, Alan DeHart.

Nancy graduated from Arlington High School in Indianapolis in 1967. She worked as an office administrator for over 40 years. Mostly you will know of her devotion to her family. Secondly you will know of her spirit for the Indianapolis Colts. Her and her sister attended almost every home game from 1994 to 2020, including Winning Game of the Super Bowl in Miami XLI. Proud Blue Crew Members and tailgaters for 20 plus years!

She also enjoyed bowling with several leagues over the years. Typically you would find her in a cute flannel shirt, comfy pants and Birkenstock sandals, always ready for fun.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at T.M. Norton's, 3315 Cherry Road, Anderson, from 1 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Nancy would prefer donations in her name to Peyton Manning or Riley's Children Hospitals.

Neptune Society has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
