Nedra Phyllis Landaker
August 5, 1933 - April 6, 2025
Nedra Phyllis Landaker, 91, of Anderson, passed away on April 6, 2025, with her daughter by her side.
Nedra was born on Aug. 5, 1933, in Anderson, to Elmer Harold Stephens Cox and Alice (Spaulding) Cox.
She married the love of her life, Nathan "Nate" Landaker on April 7, 1950. The two were married for 67 years before his passing in 2017.
Nedra found her spiritual home at Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and was a faithful member for many years.
She volunteered at St. John's/St. Vincent for two years and the Anderson Police Department for seven years. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Nedra will be dearly missed by her daughter, Deena (Jan) Deford of Anderson; Deonn Deford of California and Chantel (Gil) Deford of California; two great-granddaughters, Drea Deford and Ivy Deford of California; sister, Karen Zierer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nate; brothers, Harold Cox, Warren Cox, and Marvin Cox; and sister, Clarice Tucker.
Nedra's graveside service will be on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Gary Klinger will be officiating.
Nedra's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
