Ramona  Copeland
Ramona (Hobbs) Copeland, 82, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 2, 2019, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital after a long battle with respiratory problems.
She was born April 11, 1937, in Elwood, and moved to Anderson at a young age.
Ramona graduated from Anderson High School in 1955.
She enjoyed watching NASCAR, working in her yard, collecting dolls, and most importantly she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Ramona is survived by her loving husband, whom she married on March 3, 1956, Douglas Copeland; children, Sabrina (Rafael) McLaren and Jim Copeland; and grandchildren, Adam (Teresa) Baker, Cody Baker, and Mollie Copeland. Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Lou Brown, Peggy Badgley, Sandra Anderson, Connie (Mike) Thomas, Richard Hobbs, Terry (Kathy) Hobbs; dear friend, Sue Barnett, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Ethel Hobbs; and siblings, Barbara Spangler, Glen Hobbs, Larry Lee Hobbs, and Jack Gordon.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at Anderson Memorial Park.

I'm sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Growing up as next door neighbors Ramona was a strong and positive force in my life. There will always be a special place in my heart for her. As neighbors there are many fun memories. Find comfort and strength with each other during this time.

I remember Ramona well, she was always very kind. Ramona lived next door to my grandparents, Jim & Betty Burke. Prayers for all your family.
