ANDERSON [mdash] Randy Alan Talley, 61, of Anderson, passed away Jan. 8, 2020. He was born April 29, 1958, to the late Robert and Shirley (Carmichael) Talley.

Post-graduation from Madison Heights High School, Randy worked as a laborer in the union for over 15 years. After his time with the union, Randy ran a small business in Anderson. Randy was extremely hard working and he was always ready to lend a hand for anyone in need.

His passion for things that most people overlooked weaved through every aspect of his life. Since the age of 12, he had a love for restoring antique cars. You would often find him at flea markets and antique shows collecting forgotten treasures. He found solace near the water; there was not a lake, river or ocean that he did not find peaceful.

Randy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cindy Talley; children, Alan (Kristine) Talley and Lindsay (Anthony) Johnston; grandchildren, Garret and Jackson Talley, Zachary, Tyler and Owen Arens; sister, Linda Burns; and several nieces and nephews.

Randy was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rick Talley; and best friend, Steven Sanqunetti.

A Celebration of Life will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, at the American Legion Post 114, 38th and Columbus Avenue, Anderson.

A private burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.
