The Rev. William Abresch, 92, Noblesville, passed away April 16, 2018, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1926, in Kokomo, the son of Harry and Clella L. (Solomon) Abresch. Bill served in the Army Air Forces in World War II.
He was a minister for many years, and also pastored Lone Oak Wesleyan Church in Anderson.
Bill is survived by his children, Greg Abresch (Deb) and Kathy J. Morris (Barry); his daughter-in-law, Sharon Abresch; his grandchildren, Wendy Fox, Ryan Abresch (Dusty), Nathan Morris (Stephanie), Melanie Dampier, Adam Abresch (Elizabeth), Leslie Branson (Rob), Lyndsy Cain (Tony), and Anthony Abresch (Amanda); and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sue Abresch; his son, Harry "Bud" Abresch; and his brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at Lone Oak Wesleyan Church, 486 N. 500W, Anderson, with memorial visitation from 4 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
