I just remember Rich was always smiling and had the biggest heart. He could brighten anyone’s day with his sense of humor. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences to Angel, his wife, kids and family.

I was new to Oak Hill my freshman year, and Rich and I were paired up as partners in Mr. Green's chemistry class. He was one of my first new friends. Such a great guy. I regret that, like many high school friends, I only saw Rich a few times since. But for a rare handful of people, like Rich, the time without contact didn't matter. I was devastated to hear the news of his illness and passing after the fact. I wish I'd been paying more attention. I wish comfort to all those who were lucky enough to still be in his circle. I'd like to be in Pendleton right now celebrating him with you. I'll raise a glass from here.

I only knew rich as an acquaintance in high scool but i do remember him with a big smile and he seemed genuinely happy.. it breaks my heart when anyone is taken too soon and it's a reality check when it's someone my exact age.. rest in piece my friend and enjoy heaven like you enjoyed earth

Even though I haven’t known you long, I am thankful that I met you, Rich. I will never forget that big bright smile and laughing eyes when teasing the boys before they headed to boot camp. Praying for all the family!

It has been a long time since I saw Rich, but when I lived in Marion, he and Angel were very special to me. He's probably making music in Heaven for his mom. Love you Rich. Your aunt Garie.

Our hearts break with empathy knowing that your hearts are broken with grief. Words mean very little at this time. Just know that you and your family are in our prayers.

Kylie, and boys. We are so sorry for your loss. Rich will be greatly missed, but will ALWAYS be LOVED. We always talked about him and wished we could get him back to sing again. I'm really going to miss that crazy grin of his. It always made me chuckle. I know it hurts really bad, but try not to be to sad, because he wouldn't want you to. Love to all of you. Carl
