Robert L. Abel, 87, Fortville, died Jan. 16, 2013, at his residence. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Allison (Mollenkopf) Abel; a son, Ron Abel; and two daughters, Mari (Steve) Quiggins and Audra (Joe) Tilton. Celebration of Life Service 6 p.m. Monday at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.
