Robert "Wayne" Wigner, 74, of Anderson, passed away November 30, 2019. He was born May 10, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided most of his life.
Wayne graduated from Madison Heights High School. He served his country in the United States Navy for six years. He worked for the Department of Corrections and retired from Chrysler Corp.
He was a member of The Church at Lindwood, and loved to watch all different types of sports on TV.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Belinda Wigner; mother, Betty Wigner; children, Michelle (Austin) Melton, Tracy Prochnow, Christopher Davis and Jennifer (Michael) Oppy; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who meant the world to him. Also surviving are his sisters, Ginger (Keith) Teems and Jeanine (Danny) Pope; brother-in-law, Michael Pruett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wigner; first wife, Jane Wigner; son, Andy Wigner; and sister, Janet Pruett.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
