Rodger J Barnett Obituary

Rodger James Barnett was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 19, 1941, to Murtie and James Barnett.

He honorably served in the United States Air Force.

In 1964 he met the love of his life, Rose Tyler, and they were married a year later and remained by each other's side until her passing in 2013.

Together they raised a daughter, Michelle (Barnett) Weatherspoon, and a son, Michael Barnett. They also cared for several foster children.

Rodger was preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Rose; brothers Ralph and Charles, and his sister Rose.

Rodger leaves behind a host of family who love him dearly. We will forever cherish both his life and his legacy.

A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 1610 W. 22nd St., Anderson, IN 46016.
