Like the Autumn leaves, another leaf from my family’s Tree of Life has fallen. Rodney is the son of Betty, who is the daughter of Virginia, who is the daughter of Rachel, who is the daughter of Parthena and Ruben Horton/Harden. I am Celena, the daughter of Celane, who is the daughter of Emmaline, who is the daughter of Parthena and Ruben Horton/Harden. Betty and I are second cousins as we share the same great-grandparents, Parthena and Ruben. Our grandmothers, Emmaline and Rachel, are sisters, which make their daughters, Celane and Virginia, first cousins. Rodney is my second cousin once removed. I pray he’s resting peacefully in the bosom of Jesus, and that all of our beloved ance...stors who've gone on to be with the Lord have received him with opened arms. My deepest sympathy to all of his family, especially his immediate family members and closest friends. May the love, thoughts and prayers of friends and family soften your sorrow and sadness, and may God bless and comfort you in your time of loss. Sincerely, CelenaRead more
