Ruth Ann was born Jan. 23, 1948, to Thomas and Mary Carter.
She was an Anderson High School graduate and retired from the Social Security office.
Ruth Ann enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with family and friends.
Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter, Crystalina (Roosevelt) Smith; sister, Hazel Collier; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation two hours prior to service.
