Anderson, IN - Sheila D. Paschal, 80, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 12, 2025, at her home.

She was born on Oct. 15, 1945, in Jasonville, Indiana, the daughter of Ray and Hazel (Bedwell) Hawkins.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Randy Paschal of Anderson; son, Roger Paschal of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Cheryl (Kirk) Engbrecht of Anderson; brother, Jerry (Rita) Hawkins of Sullivan, Indiana; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and two sisters, Robert Hawkins, Wanda Bennett, and Darlene Neal.

Sheila was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School. She worked at various secretarial jobs, including school secretary, but was primarily a stay-at-home mom.

Throughout the years she was active in Cub Scouts, Mother's Club, PTA, Drama Club, Band Parents, Women's Circles, Euchre Clubs and the Model A Ford Club. Sheila was raised in the Church of Christ and was a member of Bethany Christian Church.

Sheila enjoyed traveling with Randy, her family, and friends. She traveled to all 50 states; sailed on cruises; visited Gatlinburg, Branson and Nashville multiple times; and went on fishing trips in Canada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Missouri. Sheila was active in the Model A Ford Club which resulted in several trips by Model A Ford, including a trip to Branson, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by James Harless. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Church.
