Anderson, IN - Stephen E. Ritchey, 82, Anderson, passed away April 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and daughter.
He was born June 11, 1943, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He was a 1961 graduate of Anderson High School and retired at the age of 56 in 1999 from Delco Remy, after 34 years of employment.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Wise), whom he was married to for 36 years. Also surviving are his two sons and daughter, Stephen Ritchey, Robert (wife, Rachel) Ritchey and Monica (husband, Andrew) Walukonis.
He is also survived by three brothers, Thomas (Kathy Luther) Haggard, Gregory (wife, Barbra) Haggard and Kevin Haggard; grandchildren, Joshua Richardson, Saige Buck and Daylan Walukonis.
Per Stephen's request, there will not be a service and burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
