A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Owens Funeral Home, 412 N. Harrison St., Alexandria, with Rev. Jerry Young officiating. The Abernathy family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria.
