Anderson, Indiana - Thomas R. Allex, 86, of Anderson, passed away on July 2, 2025, at Countryside Manor in Anderson.

He was born Dec. 16, 1938, in Anderson, and resided his entire life in Anderson.

Thomas graduated from Anderson High School in 1958.

He worked for Nicholson File and later General Motors until his retirement in 2003.

He loved dancing in 50's and 60's dance competitions with his late wife, Margaret. Together they brought home several trophies, and in his later years, he enjoyed playing golf with his son, son-in-law and brother-in-laws.

Thomas is survived by his three children, Brian (Smita) Allex, Debbie Throesch and Michelle (Anthony) Bond; grandchildren, Shelby (Adam) Alexander, Logan Throesch, Olivia Behrens, Aspen Bond, Emma (James) Brandon, Evan Behrens, Talia Allex and Micah Allex; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. Allex of 49 years; parents, Dorothy and Limber Allex; and five sisters.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at East Maplewood Cemetery, in Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.

He and Margaret are now dancing again.
