Velma Kathleen Page


Velma Kathleen (Dittlinger) Page, 87, of Pendleton, left her earthly home for a heavenly home on Aug. 12, 2019, at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
She was a lifelong resident of Anderson. Velma was the daughter of Roy and Roxie Dittlinger and was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Anderson.
Velma graduated from Anderson High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Page; brother, Alvin Dittlinger; her parents; and beloved grandpup, Zoey Page.
Velma is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Linda (Markle) Page; son, Michael Page; and daughter, Cheryl Page. She is also survived by a grandpuppy, Bentley Page.
Velma loved working. She began at the YMCA cafeteria at 18, and reluctantly retired at age 72 from CVS.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Hackney of Markleville North Christian Church officiating.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Rawlins House employees and therapists for all their love and care of mom.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

I graduated high school with Cheryl and worked with Bobby at Bob Evans . I am very sorry for the loss of your mother.. she was a very sweet woman, and I know she will be sadly missed❤️

I worked with Velma in Activities while I was at Rawlins and I remembered her from CVS while I was growing up in Meadowbrook. She will always be remembered and loved. I am so sorry for the lost of this great and beautiful person. Fly high with the angels Velma.

It was always a pleasure to be able to spend time with and take care of Miss Velma! I loved her spunk and attitudes and most of all her hugs! I am so sorry for your loss dear family. She will be greatly missed!
