ALEXANDRIA — Vincent P. "Vince" Beardsley, 91, entered peace and rest from his residence on Sunday, May 26, 2024, following an extended illness.

Wife-Vickie (Miller) Beardsley-married November 11, 2011

Son-Brian (Deborah) Beardsley of St. Louis, Missouri

Step-Son-James "Jamie" Griffin of Anderson

Step-Daughter-Aimee (Mike) Clark of Connersville

Grandchildren-Meghann Beardsley, Amanda (Matthew) DiFrisco,

Step-Grandchildren- Lauren Johnston, Destiny Clark, Logan Griffin and Blayde Tocci,

Nephew and Caregivers- Brandon Mroz of Anderson and David (Karen) Staggs who traveled the long distance from New Port Richey, Florida to lovingly care for Vince after his fall and during his illness.

Graveside services will take place at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Park View Cemetery, 1101 South Park Avenue, (State Road 9) Alexandria. Mike Owens will officiate at the services. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Air Force and the Elwood VFW #5782 Honors Team. Following the interment service, family and friends are invited to the Beardsley home for a time of sharing and refreshment.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alexandria Monroe Historical Society Museum, 313 North Harrison Street, Alexandria, IN 46001.
