Violet Roberta (Skinner) Ridgway, 98, of Anderson, died April 19, 2018, at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson.

She was born on March 26, 1920 in Sullivan, the daughter of Lex and Golda (Roberts) Skinner. She was a homemaker and attended Lone Oak Weslyan Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, attending Sunday School and reading.

She is survived by her children, Nondas (Melvin) Blair, of Anderson, and Patsy Trueblood, of Fresno, California; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Ridgway; grandson, Ernie Blair; great-grandson, Dustin Pierce; sister, Mary Nicholas; and brother, Oran Skinner.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Lone Oak Wesleyan Church, officiated by Pastor Bill Thompson. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the funeral at the church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lone Oak Wesleyan Church.
