MIDDLETOWN - Former Pendleton resident Virginia R. (Featherston) Abney, 88, Middletown, died Jan. 25, 2014, at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown. Survivors include children, Michael A. (Shera) Abney and Cynthia J. Moore. Service 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. with Pastor Claude Creel officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lahm Chapel. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association or America Cancer Society.
