William Harvey Davis Sr., 52, passed away on Aug. 16, 2019.
Harvey was born June 26, 1967, to the late Robert Sr. and Freddie Mae Davis. He was a graduate of Highland High School and a U.S. Army veteran. Harvey was the owner of Better Days Barbershop, enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Harvey is survived by his sons, Vontavious Davis, Kevon Davis, William Davis Jr.; daughters, Dominique (Ashley) Davis, Ta'mya Davis; sisters, Rhonda (Herschell) Davis, Kimberly (John) Williams; brothers, Robert (Yvonne) Davis Jr., Danny (Sharla) Davis, Marvin (Michele) Davis; and a host of family and friends.
Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at New Purpose Ministries, 2604 N. Scatterfield Road.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service.

So sorry for your loss. Harvey seemed like a very fun guy to be around. I love seeing him at the house. When the A-town nights would come and rehearse. Even though I don't live in the state it's been a long time since I've seen Harvey. Going to miss him. To the family you're in my prayers Godspeed.

My condolences go out to Bobby, Marvin, Danny, Rhonda and the entire Davis Family. Memories go all the way back to the neighborhood, Brentwood, East side, Highland, Boys Club, Females, Little League, Dances and visit to Dallas. This isn't real but it is and still hurtful. I still can't wrap my head around Harvey being gone. I'll never forget his laugh, his smile or his silly ways. My heart is broken like so many others that knew and loved him in their own special and unique ways. Harvey will NEVER be forgotten and will be loved FOREVER.
