Anderson, IN - William James "Bill" Mason, 87, of Anderson, passed away June 11, 2025, at Northridge Gracious Living in Fishers.

He was born on Jan. 19, 1938, in Alexandria, the son of Albert and Florence (Miller) Mason. He was employed as a pipefitter with GM Delco Remy for 36 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and repairing things. He was a "Mr. Fix-it" and if it was broken he wanted to make it work. He and his wife Lois used to enjoy ballroom dancing.

He is survived by his son, Matthew (Kelly) Mason; three grandchildren Carter, Luke and Olivia; two sisters, Marietta Mason-Lutz and Roseann Mason-McKee; a brother, Raymond (Judy) Mason; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Roger, Rick and Randy (Kim) Bramwell; sister-in-law, Lou Ann (Garry) Cloud.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois (Bramwell) Mason; son, Andrew Mason; siblings, David Mason and Geraldine Sizelove.

Cremation has been chosen by the family.

His ashes will be buried at East Maplewood Cemetery with his wife at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Alexandria-Monroe Township Historical Society.
