Wilma Sue Hensley Obituary

Wilma "Sue" Hensley, 87, of Anderson, passed away on March 6, 2025.

She was born on Oct. 17, 1937, in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Catherine and Boze Haskett.

Sue worked as a bartender at the Hide-Away Bar in Anderson for many years.

She loved to watch her sports and was an avid Cubs fan.

Wilma is survived by her children, Cathy Garrison, Dale (Susie) Smith, Tina Smith, Lori Smith, Mark (Alan) Smith, and Jay (Petra) Van Duyn; her grandchildren, Amanda, Shane, Misty, Rusty, Jeremy, D.J., Tia, Carly, Trina, Christine, Zac, and Ariel; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, David (Debbie) Haskett; and her best friends, Brian and Lisa Hutchison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Brian; sister, Kay; brother, Gary; and her beloved dogs, Coco and Pete.

Cremation will be accorded with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
